Mossy Oak Golf Club

Located just across the street from the Old Waverly gate, Mossy Oak Golf Club represents a collaboration between the George and Marcia Bryan Family, Gil Hanse (designer of the 2016 Olympic Golf Course in Rio) and Mossy Oak, an outdoor lifestyle company and pioneer in preserving natural habitats across the US. The vision for Mossy Oak Golf was to create a memorable, world-class golf experience that brings golfers closer to nature and celebrates the local Mississippi Black Prairie Habitat. It’s called Nature’s Golf.

The golf course opened in the Fall of 2016 to critical acclaim and has garnered a series of accolades in subsequent years including being named Golf Digest’s #3 Best New Course in the US (2017), and recognition as one of Golfweek’s Top-100 Modern Courses in the US (2018).
